12: Speech scrap paper
07.31.09: I delivered my speech last Monday (07.27)!.. yay~ the paper is my draft on my ice breaker speech.

Public Speaking, I'm scared of it. I can't really say I hate it, 'cause I'm just scared of doing it. I really dislike speaking in front of a huge crowd/public. But, I'm doing my best to pass this subject. Oh! I like my instructor here cause he gives a different ambiance inside the classroom. Everyone is listening to him, for the first time, every student in the class are listening to the instructor. Well, that's what I think. You see, he's a competitor of a public speaking competition thing happening internationally. He even delivered his winning speech, entitled "the swimming lesson". It's not really a speech about swimming, but he interrelated his experience before with life. It's the 'chug-shwoosh' sound that he relate it to life, when you went in the water and rise out of it. The 'chug' is when you go in to the water or a pool of problems, then 'shwoosh' is when you rise out of the water or get out of your problems and rise. Then he quoted "you fall 6 times, but you should rise 7 times".. awww.. he's really nice. I had so much fun with my public speaking class with him. Even though I dislike public speaking, he made it more fun for me attending his class. Now, he's going to US to compete for the prepared speech category. Let's pray for his victory!. It is the fact that he's now on his way to US, we're going to have a new instructor on public speaking. *sad*, but I'm just glad that at least I've met him before he go.
